The cold is brutal at the moment
I took a photo from my seat on the bus and I saw that the camera was full of snow
A boat was stuck in the canal ice outside our apartment. While it was waiting for the lock to open, the ice closed around it and it had to go back and forth for about 40 minutes before it managed to break a path through.
Sweden does have five ice breakers out in the Baltic sea and on the big lakes, but ships are now much bigger than when the icebreakers were built, meaning that it takes two ice breakers to clear a path for a ship instead of one.
I am seeing more and more of these little sanitary boxes at the places I work. Some are dispensers made by the companies themselves, others are from the companies that supply the bathroom necessities, and others (like this one) are probably done by the workplace.
It is a really good thing for women who are caught short during their working day, so to speak. And it seems that people don’t stockpile them so I hope it continues.
