I love the shower thoughts subreddit.. One thing I really like about the internet is all the smart, witty, funny people out there. There is always a comment or a meme or a smart answer to a question that restores my faith in human nature.
One shower thought I have had for a long long time is why the word lisp contains an s in so many languages. After all, it is the letter that most people with a lisp cannot say. And Speech therapist must be troublesome as well. In Swedish it is läspa, in Dutch lispel, in Afrikaans lisp, in German lispeln, in Polish seplenienie.
